P. Vijayakumar has close to 42 years of work experience spanning across domain and IT. Vijay’s domain experience in Oil & Gas – Downstream in the areas of logistics planning, execution, marketing operations and finance paved strong foundation towards defining Digital Business Blueprint for success.
Vijay, as a SAP Consultant, Program Manager and Practice Head in Reliance, PWC, SAP, CSC and HP gained expertise in positioning ERP systems not just as transaction processing systems but also as tactical planner and strategic tool. Vijay’s SAP implementation and support experience across companies in various industry verticals and geographies enabled him to develop a Framework called Quantitative Business Process Modelling which elevates a Company’s Business chain into value chain.
Vijay’s expertise in BW prompted him to get into Data Sciences and Analytics and coupled with this, his domain and process knowledge, pulled him into Digital Transformation.
Vijay, as an entrepreneur and founder of few Startup companies, has a clear Roadmap on transforming companies’ business processes with Digital Technologies and elevate them as – Smart and Intelligent Enterprises. Vijay’s penchant towards identifying value leak areas, value add areas and develop solutions in AI / ML helps companies towards injection Optimization, Prediction and Contextual intelligence.
Vijayakumar has joined Collabridge recently and lead Collabridge’s initiations in Digital Transformation Consulting, Data Sciences and Analytics and Digital Talent Gardening.
Over the years, Vijay has held several technology, business and operational leadership positions in few IT Product and Services companies and is widely recognized in the industry for his strategic thinking and impeccable execution.
Known for his hands-on approach, Vijay’s leadership style has been commended by various companies’ “C” suite and highly appreciative of the business benefits, they derived thru Vijay’s distinctive style of positioning IT as Business technology and IS as Industry Solutions.
Vijay is a Postgraduate in Operations Research, a MBA in Finance from JBIMS- Mumbai, a CFA from ICFAI. Vijay has spent 4 years in XLRI Jamshedpur to pursue Doctoral Degree and his work on corporate strategy and execution, the gap between these two and how IT can help in minimizing the gap, helped him immensely in transforming companies digitally and transitioning them from managing to modelling.
